Top Tech of 2024

December 19, 2024

In the fast-paced world of digital marketing, staying ahead of the curve means leveraging the best tools and platforms to achieve your goals. At Girlilla Marketing, we’re always on the lookout for cutting-edge tech that streamlines workflows, enhances creativity, and drives results.

Here are some of the tools we’ve been loving in 2024:

  1. KOMI: The Ultimate Link Aggregator

In an era of scattered digital footprints, KOMI keeps everything centralized. Whether it’s driving traffic to new music, merchandise, or upcoming events, this platform makes link aggregation seamless and aesthetically pleasing.

  1. Set.Live: Data Capture at Live Events

If you only take away one thing from us, let it be this: OWN. YOUR. DATA. Social media is a great tool for connecting with your audience, but it doesn’t replace the importance of knowing who your fans are and having the ability to communicate with them directly–not at the mercy of the “powers that be” (you know who they are).

When it comes to live events, Set.Live is a game-changer. This platform captures attendee data in real-time, making post-event follow-ups more personalized and impactful. It’s a must-have for creating connections that last beyond the event itself, and it even integrates with many of the most popular Email and SMS platforms (including the next on our list) to facilitate communication!

  1. Laylo: Mastering SMS and Direct Messaging

By combining landing pages, messaging, link tracking, and more, Laylo helps us drive tickets, merch, and streams through Instagram DM, SMS, and email. One standout moment this year was our in-stadium activation with Laylo and Wade Bowen, where we saw firsthand how this tool connects fans and amplifies impact on Opening Day for the Texas Rangers! Check it out along with more use cases HERE.

  1. Trello: Streamlining Content Planning

One of Trello’s standout features is how it streamlines communication with clients. By sharing boards directly with them, we can easily gather feedback, approve content, and collaborate in real-time—all without endless email threads. This level of transparency keeps everyone on the same page and allows us to deliver campaigns that exceed expectations.

  1. InShot & CapCut: Quick and Easy Video Editing

If you haven’t noticed (where have you been?), all of these social platforms that are competing for our attention are becoming more and more alike. While the question of TikTok’s presence in 2025 is a story for another time, short-form video content doesn’t seem to be going anywhere. We love InShot and CapCut for all our short-form video editing because both have super user-friendly experiences that allow us to turnaround content quickly.

  1. Canva: Collaborative Creative Powerhouse

When it comes to designing on the fly, Canva is unmatched. Its user-friendly interface and robust features make it accessible for everyone, whether you’re a design pro or just getting started. We love how intuitive it is to create, share, and edit graphics, and as a cloud-based platform, it allows us to work directly with our graphic designer in real time, ensuring quick feedback and seamless execution on every project.

  1. Tezza: Elevating Photo Editing

For photos–because those still exist–Tezza is an office favorite. From vibrant filters to easy-to-use editing tools, it’s ideal for creating scroll-stopping visuals for social media and beyond.

  1. DashThis: Simplifying Analytics Reporting

DashThis transforms analytics reporting into a streamlined, viewer-friendly experience. By integrating data from multiple platforms into one intuitive dashboard, it saves us time and delivers clear, actionable insights. It’s our go-to tool for keeping clients informed and our team empowered to make data-driven decisions.

Why These Tools Work for Us

Each of these platforms addresses a specific challenge we face as a digital marketing agency. Whether it’s simplifying analytics, fostering collaboration, or enhancing creativity, they empower us to work smarter, not harder.

As we enter into 2025, we’re excited to see how these tools continue to evolve—and we’re always on the hunt for what’s next. Got a favorite tech tool we didn’t mention? Head over to our Instagram post to let us know.
